Bare Bones

Windows

1. Download the Windows ZIP file.
2. If Windows says the download is suspicious, click "Download suspicious file."
3. Extract the "Bare Bones" folder from the ZIP file.
4. Run "barebones.exe".
5. If Windows Defender pops up, click "more info," then "run anyway."

Mac

1. Download the Mac ZIP file.
2. Run the "barebones.dmg" file.
3. Run the "Bare Bones" application. You will receive a pop-up saying that the application could not be run. Click "Ok."
4. Right-click on "Bare Bones" and select "Open." Select "Open" in the pop-up window and enter your password if prompted.

Linux 

1. Download the Linux ZIP file
2. Extract the "Bare Bones Linux" folder from the ZIP file.
3. Open terminal and navigate to the "Bare Bones Linux" folder.
4. Run the command "chmod +x barebones.x86_64".
5. Run the command "./barebones.x86_64".
